I wanted to send a quick note of thanks to DJ For taking care of a few things happening in my apartment in a short amount of time! He is always quick to respond and make sure his projects get carried out all the way through. He is good about keeping me informed about how long something will take, when he will get to it, etc. I truly appreciate his communication and follow-through!

Clean property. Great amenities. Caring staff. Awesome location. Right next to metro, wharf, and grocery.

    4.5/5 Bridget S. on Apr 3, 2024

301 M has been the best apartment building to live in! The staff are super kind, the gym is great, the rooftop is so beautiful and clean, and the location is unmatched, with a metro station and a grocery store on the same block. I moved from across the country two years ago and I didnt take the time to come to DC to find an apartment. Luckily, I found 301 M, applied, and got the lease the next day, and when I drove all the way to DC months later, it was exactly as it was described. The maintenance staff are quick and timely, the parking is so secure, and there is even a Chase ATM right downstairs. I truly love living here and have continued to renew my lease over and over again because I have no reason to leave!

Valo Apartments in SW D.C. feature modern amenities, a prime location, and well-designed units. Management is attentive, enhancing a strong community vibe.

    5/5 Josh P. on Aug 26, 2023

I have lived here for over a year and it's really hard to beat the location, square footage, and price in the area. Just a 10 minute walk to either the Navy Yard or the Wharf, but not paying the price to live in those areas. I have never had an issue with maintenance, staff, or the amenities. The gym is the only disappointment, but I have friends' gyms I can go use. Happily plan on renewing my lease.

I have lived here for a little over two years. I love my apartment - the location is amazing! The staff are phenomenal, especially Mr. William and Ms. Ruth. Customer service is top-notch! Any time I've had a facilities concern, it was quickly resolved. Any planned work being done in the building is communicated in advance. I have had no pest issues or water leaks. I look forward to continuing to live in this community.

I have lived here for almost three years now. I love the property; it is clean, and well appointed, the staff are nice and friendly, and the units are big for a studio apt. I definitely would recommend living here to a friend, I love my unit and the apartment complex. It is close to shops, the metro, and grocery stores, as well as good restaurants in Cleveland Park.

    5/5 Annonymous on Dec 20, 2023

I've lived at 3801 for 4 years and have loved it. Great masonry building - very quiet, with large rooms and plenty of closet space. The property is located between the Cleveland Park and Van Ness Metro stations with everything one could need within walking distance. There is a parking garage under the building and there are always spaces available for rent. Front desk and front office staff are terrific and provide great service in collecting, accounting for and urging pick-up of a HUGE number of packages. Maintenance is virtually immediate and generally effective on the first visit. I have met folks in the building who have lived here 30, 40 and even 50 years. That says a lot about this building.

I should be surprised that about a dozen of DC’s top landlord companies are suspected of colluding with a software company in order to inorganically force their residents into an 8% rent increase despite it supposedly being a rent controlled region. But I have developed a tougher, calloused-over heart in recent years and for that, I have DC to thank.
