All the office staff and maintenance are very respectful and kind. I have lived in these apartments 10 years and that is one thing I can say that they are quick to assist with any problems I have had. If it will be something that has to get ordered or take longer, they let explain what has to be done. These are the only apartments that I have lived in that problems have been fixed quickly. I love the traditional character of the early 70’s architecture as well as its unique design that makes each apartment feel very private and quiet. The large deep windowsills and views of the giant trees create a heartfelt lifestyle, and the relaxed atmosphere is unusually calming amid the surrounding noise and commotion of the city. Renee, the manager, is an exceptional person – her cheerful character and genuine love of people and her job greatly amplify the positive spirit of the property. She and her assistant, Andres, are always open, sincere, and eager to help with any problem, big or small. They both were the deciding factor in my choice to move from the hill country to this uniquely quaint community. The healthy living environment along with a lovely upgraded kitchen and energy efficient design has made life a lot more efficient and enjoyable.

I absolutely love living here. I have 2 small children and our apartment is very spacious. We live right by the woods so there are some great trails to walk snd super easy access to sunset valley shopping center. I can see us living here for the next few years to save up for a house.

This is a really nice location in northwest Austin, located within the coveted "golden triangle" formed by the convergence of Capital of Texas Highway, Mopac, and Hwy 183 (Research Blvd.) Quick access to many popular areas of Austin, including The Domain, the Arboretum, downtown, and Zilker Park. Complex is secure and quiet and filled with trees.

We have complained, but no resolve. Close proximity to all things austin. When the gate is shut, there is good security for your car, but there have been times the gate is broken for a few days and we had some car break ins

I've lived here for almost 3 years. It is in a superb location, close to all major highways. My two apartments I've lived in were fresh with new paint and flooring. The management gals - Susan and Crystal are the best. They are dedicated to making this property community friendly and well taken care of. Max and Michael do a fantastic job at maintenance. It's tough to choose which is better - the management or the maintenance! Anytime I've had a problem, it's been taken care of quickly, often within 2 hours. You can't get that service owning a home!! Susan is very engaging, always ready to chat when you go in to get a package delivered. That's a plus also - your packages won't get taken by porch pirates when they're delivered to the office. Susan has strivved to make this a fun community with Christmas wrapping events, Halloween decoration contests and pet costume contests. Both the office gals are committed to assisting residents in any and all issues. Bottom line, I wouldn't live anyplace else!

Anonymous on Mar 12, 2024I have really enjoyed my time at Monterey Oaks! The staff are incredibly friendly and kind. The common areas are very clean and well taken care of. The complex is quiet which is so nice! I love the outdoor area in the back with the jogging trail and the dog park. I don't have a dog but I love to see them all out and about. The volleyball area is great on the weekends with friends. I never have trouble parking close to my building. All in all - a great place to live!

Jc on Aug 17, 2022Area and location is great. The gym needs weights, water, and cleaning supplies. The pool is annoying closed to often and we pay for these amenities. ALSO THE BATHROOM in pool area is never cleaned, never any toilet paper or paper towels. I clean and bring my own every time I go and it's gross they really need to fix this. The pool patio sets never have their umbrellas up, even in this texas heat. Grill need to be clean more often. Never any emails on updates for location of any type.

My husband and I have only been here for two months and we LOVE it. The grounds are beautiful, the location is amazing, and our unit is stunning! We are so incredibly happy with The Madison. Ben and Niesha have been kind and responsive to any needs we have had. We hope rent will stay close to what it is now, because we definitely plan on staying here for a very long time!

Love living here it's probably the first apartment complex where I am not having to deal with noisy neighbors or constant break-ins. Love my amenities with yard and view, friendly staff and appropriate Rent price. Valet is always on time, never have had a lost package very clean and spacious apartments.
